Francis Ernst, the président of association Copiii romani of Colmar, France has presented ILL’s mixed syndicate activity, whose charge is ILL’s maintenance, bringing back the nature (forest) where the ground was taken by the city for preventing innondation risks, and also keeping waters clean.

8.Dâmboviţa, a polluted river…
No pollution reducing filter actions for the cleaning of this river, and this explains the high level of its pollution.

9.Dâmboviţa, sweet…water…
The European Commission asked Romania to build an european standard cleansing water station before 2010. If the delay is not respected the authorities risk great fines.

10.The contest ,, We think green”
It was organised by the production house VERDECRUD MEDIA and it ofered to the pupils from fifth and sixth grade the posibility to study an ample bibliografic material and to share with their colleagues knowledge about water as a finite source of life on Earth, about diferent metods for saving it and about metods of keeping the water in optimum parameters.

11.WATER FOR LIFE
7th grade B pupils coordonated by the biology teacher Ileana Ion launched the initiative „Water for life” in which they will share, in Tei Park, flyers, leaflets and will explain what responsable consumption of water means so this resource won’t disappear.

The main subjects of our initiatives are the children because they are the future. If we don’t save the water probably that it would become protected by leagues and they will only read about it in the books.

12.THE DREAM
The mesage of the play realised by the pupils of 7th grade C coordonated by Cati Fulgeanu,one of the teachers,was the awareness of the importance that people have in conservation and rational use of the resources that Earth still has.

13.EARTH DAY
Some of us are already used to keep the environment clean ( or maybe we were borned with this instinct ) – we don’t throw papers on the floor anymore, we don’t leave plastic bottles anywhere, etc.-but have not yet reached that critical mass that determines the people’s change. We still see piles of papers throwed everywhere, plastic scattered everywhere etc.
Based on a finding that states that we are the average of 10 people surrounding us daily, how many of us are aware of the influence we have on the environment and others, the more chances to determine changes in around us.

14.WHAT CAN WE DO TO INVOLVE US ?
To leave our car at home
To plant trees
To colect the garbage that people throw in the nature
To try to convinve more friends of the importance of this actions
It’s better you think before you buy something that it is packed in recyclable packaging ;
You should recycle all waste;
Before you write a document or an e-mail you better think if you really need it;
Stop using disposable bags;
Buy a reusable water bottle;
Turn off your computer during the night;
Pay bills online as much as possible;
Collect rain water;
Use your old clothes as tea cloths;
Shower in 5 minutes.
